Delicious Dining Experience

Dining at the 1883 restaurant was good. I had Sunday lunch there with friends, and although service was slow, the food presentation was impressive. The hotel rooms were sparkling clean, modern, and cozy, with a fireplace and an enormous bath overlooking the dams, but there was not enough parking and seating on the stoep. The crockery and cutlery were limited, beds small, and no provision for loadshedding was made.
